Am/Can/Intl CH Teckelwood Madonna was a special unexpected surprise.  Because “Maddie” was an oversized miniature, it was thought she would have a hard time completing her championship and was returned to her breeder, Amanda Hodges.  I was asked if I wanted the challenge. I took her on and, true, it did take some time but she earned her AKC title along with a Canadian Championship and International Championship.    She is a credit to the breed standard with lovely movement – noticed by breeder judges.

During this journey, I was honored with a breeding to “Tommy” (BISS CH Wagsmore’s Captivating ML ROMX) and a beautiful litter of seven was produced.  I kept a dog, Wyndox Positively Captivating ML (Morgan), and a bitch, Wyndox Delightfully Captivating ML (Gi Gi).  Both have completed not only their AKC championships but earned their Grand Championships and Canadian Championships.  Her second litter was with Devoncream Magic Master RN (Magic), a cream import from England.  A litter of eight, three boys and five girls, was whelped.  I kept one boy, Teckelwood Prestidigitation V Wyndox ML (Preston).  Preston and his brother, Teckelwood Houdini V Wyndox ML (Houdini), have completed their AKC championships, and Houdini has also earned his Grand Championship.  Four sisters have also been shown with Farrah and Trixie shy only of their second major.

Maddie is now retired from the show ring and the whelping box and will be pursuing Field Trials and Earthdog.  She is also my bed buddy
cuddled close by my side.
